Jonathan Pell, Chair of the Board

With his wife Viv, John provides expert insight to our financial planning and wider business strategy. A PWC-trained accountant, John has emerged from executive roles at several blue chip firms to become a leader in commercial finance management. Former finance director at Geneva Technology, John has worked as CFO and CEO of Datanomic and now acts as director of the board for MakePostive, Psychology Online and Cloudfind, and chairman of Eyeka and Centralis.

Vivien Pell, Non Executive Director & CFO

Viv is also a former PWC accountant, drawing on two decades of commercial finance experience to serve as MyCommunity CFO. Having held multiple finance roles in small, medium and large venture-backed companies, Viv is a founding partner of JVP Consultants, where she acts as CFO/COO for over 40 businesses in the healthcare, biotech, hardware and software sectors.

Nick Westbrook, Non Executive Director

An industry expert in public consultation and engagement, Nick supports product and strategy development at MyCommunity. Formerly CEO of HAP UK Limited, a service-user consultation and engagement consultancy, Nick has held senior marketing and management positions in the international publishing, training and community involvement sectors. Nick’s passion for engagement stretches beyond his working life, having previously served as a county councillor and police and fire official.

Mike Bourne, Advisor

A former PWC accountant hosting a portfolio of 15 UK companies, Mike is an experienced technology advisor and serial investor. Founder of Raebourne Technology Investment Management and former director of the board for Cynga Negra and Frontier IP Group, Mike has overseen tech development at V2R and TechMARK and currently acts as chair of Thorium Technology Investors.

John Straw, Advisor

A digital marketing veteran and seasoned tech entrepreneur, John brings to MyCommunity 35 years' computing and online marketing experience. Former vice president of Interse Corp and co-founder of Revnet and Linkdex, John also acts as Chairman of the Digital Advisory Board at Thomas Cook, board director at CTRLio and non-executive chairman at Cloudfind.
